ArcGIS Pro Basics for Mapping your Data In-Person / Online

In the first workshop of the two-part GIS series, you will be introduced to the basics of GIS concepts and begin exploring the ArcGIS Pro software. Through hands-on practice with real-world datasets, you will learn how to navigate the software, visualize spatial data, and design professional map layouts.

This session is ideal for beginners seeking a practical introduction to GIS and guided training in ArcGIS Pro.

It is highly recommended to download ArcGIS Pro onto your Windows computer before the workshop. Follow the instructions from IS&T to download ArcGIS Pro. ArcGIS Pro is only available for Windows PCs, but you may also use the classroom computers to access the software during the workshop. Contact IS&T for any software installation issues.
