Introduction to Data Literacy In-Person / Online
Data Literacy is the ability to read, understand, create, and communicate data as information. It encompasses the skills to critically interpret data visualizations and statistics, understand data sources and structures, and create meaningful narratives from data. This introductory workshop introduces the important concepts of data literacy, including data types, summarizing data, visualizing data, and critically evaluating how data can be used to mislead. The session includes hands-on work with data in Excel 365.
