Intro to Data Wrangling and Basic Statistics in R In-Person
The second of a three-part Intro to R programming workshop series. Learn to inspect and manipulate datasets to extract data in a useful format for visualization and modeling. Using the tidyverse library, apply indices and functions to subset, merge, and export new data tables. Learn functions for basic statistical data analysis in R, including methods for testing hypotheses.
No prior programming knowledge is required, but it is recommended to have attended or reviewed the topics covered in the first workshop.
Participants are encouraged to sign up for a free online Posit Cloud account (https://posit.cloud) prior to the workshop, and may bring their own laptop or use a provided desktop at the workshop.
